Shannon-Doe is a small-town class president who’s always campaigning. That might make her sound fake, but she’s not like that. She really enjoys getting to know everyone. That’s why she’s joined so many clubs: Yearbook, Mock Trial, Fencing, Baking and “some seasonal ones.” Each club has taught her something new about herself, too. For instance, she’s learned that a love of chemistry really comes in handy when making a perfectly flaky puff pastry. “I never even knew I liked cooking before,” Shannon-Doe laughs, “Now, I still want to be in the white house, but I don’t know if it’s as president or head chef.” In the meantime, Shannon-doe is focused on fulfilling her latest goal of being “an inspirational Cuddly Ambassador.” Her first initiative? “I want to help others find their passion,” she says, “That usually means getting outside your comfort zone. Only then can you make the best decisions going forward.”
